There are two stocks you can purchase. One has been a high-flyer for many many years; one of the best blue chips you can find; extremely popular; whose price is in the 140s. However, now clearly the company behind is in decline with its debt running into astronomical figures. The other started out very humble, but has made such astonishing progress that now it's well poised to be the "next big thing" with all the insitutions stating its price will rise on par with the former in a few years. Which one you want to buy?
Someone made the choice to buy the former, in the most humble manner. That's say he/she would make a very miserable speculator.
